Mr. Lambert joined Gardiner Roberts in 2000. He is currently one of the lead partners in the firm’s Hospitality and Exempt Financings groups. Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1984, Mr. Lambert has developed, in his 25 years of practice, expertise in the following areas:

• real estate securities and exempt financings, including limited partnerships and real estate investment trusts, public offerings and private placements
• limited partnership restructurings and takeovers, information circulars and proxy solicitations, limited partnership dissolutions and divestitures
• real estate and commercial secured lending and financing, mezzanine financing
• contracts, corporate/commercial law, shareholders’ agreements, shareholders’ disputes, joint ventures
• resort financing and development in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean
• hospitality, time share, fraction ownership

Mr. Lambert also serves as a Director of YORKbiotech Inc., one of Ontario’s Regional Innovation Networks.
