Prior to becoming a lawyer, Esther was a licensed pharmacist and worked in community pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Esther also operated her own consulting practice in the healthcare industry, with special focus on servicing clients in the retail pharmacy business.

Prior to joining the firm, Esther articled at a national law firm in Toronto.  While at law school, Esther co-founded a non-profit organization that has established distribution channels for supplying pharmaceutical drugs and healthcare products to impoverished communities in Latin America.
