Jennifer Allen is a member of the Business Practices Group at Gardiner Roberts. Jennifer’s practice includes a full range of corporate matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Her experience includes assisting clients with acquisitions, including public take-over bids (bidder), dispositions, corporate reorganizations, partnership and shareholder matters, financings, and providing ongoing corporate advice to clients, including with respect to the requirements under federal and provincial privacy legislation. Jennifer provides advice to a variety of different clients, including publicly traded companies, private companies, financial institutions and not-for-profit institutions. Jennifer has experience in negotiating and drafting a wide range of business agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, shareholders’ agreements, security agreements, consulting agreements and service agreements.

Prior to joining Gardiner Roberts LLP in 2008, Jennifer practised corporate law with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jennifer spent several years in the personal financial services industry, dispensing advice regarding domestic and international investment opportunities.
