Fraser McDonald’s practice is primarily transaction-based with an emphasis on public company, income trust and real estate investment trust financings, acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and restructurings. He advises issuers, investment dealers, merchant bankers and institutional investors on all aspects of corporate finance transactions and securities law compliance matters.

Fraser spent one year on secondment as counsel to the Ontario Securities Commission, dividing his time between the Corporate Finance and Enforcement divisions. He also spent a year on secondment to a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company providing in-house expertise on strategic acquisitions and securities law matters.
