David is a partner with Gardiner Roberts LLP and has been with the firm since 1975. He is in the Litigation Group and for over 30 years has practised a wide variety of litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels. His practice includes work in the following areas:

• insurance litigation including coverage issues, policy interpretation, products liability, surety, subrogation and professional liability;
• banking litigation including alleged breaches of fiduciary duty by bankers, enforcement of secured creditors’ rights, and damage claims;
• real estate litigation, enforcements of agreements of purchase and sale, damage claims and mortgage enforcement;
• commercial tenancy litigation;
• construction lien litigation;
• employment law;
• personal injury.

David is counsel to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board for the Province of Ontario.
